Sure 3D text would be "flat" in the fist cut - I proposed not implementing
SoProfile (which allows text to be extruded). But it's still 3D Text since it
obeys rules of perspective and all. I would anticipate the use being placing
the text on a door or other opaque surface so you don't see it from the back.
But you can see writing on a store window from the inside and it looks
sdrawkcab so I see no need to preclude this.
