To save time for anyone who uses Unix (unless they have a Sun)
<http://www.adobe.com/Acrobat/AcrobatWWW.html> says
"Adobe has FREE Acrobat Reader software available that you can download
for Macintosh, Windows, DOS, and Sun UNIX."
<http://www.adobe.com/Software.html> also tells us that the MS-Windows
and Mac software is at version 2.0 while the DOS and Sun (4.1.3 or
Solaris 2.3) versions are at version 1.0. It also says:
"Sorry, no other versions of Acrobat Reader are currently
available
We are working on versions for Windows NT and HP/UX as well as some
others. Schedule and availability have not yet been announced."
This does not sound too hopeful for Unix users.
