Hi...just my opinion on JAVA.

FLAME ON

Java is BLOODY slow, the examples I have seen:

-run slowly.
-take for ever to load(forget using them on 14.4).
-look cheesy.
-don't impress me at all.
-don't blend into homepage's.

FLAME OFF

...now before I get a ton a flames back, I would just appreciate a
little explanation as to what all the hype is about. This does not seem
like a technology that will be useful to the average home user/consumer
and it wasted alot of my time...letting me down with a CRASH(emotional).

...is there some good examples, that would work with a 14.4/28.8
connection (I am using a 64k line - should be plenty) ??? I think what I
have seen of JAVA SCRIPT (totally different as I understand) looks more
promising.

NOW...on the other hand thanks to this mailing list I have gotten WebFX
working with the 2.3b Netscape ... AND IT ROCKS!!! This is useful.
