This is in not a feature of the VRML 1.0 spec, and I have not seen
in one of the 2.0 proposals.
(Probably it's a new state in ActiveVrml CockpitView =
Cockpit(View)) :-) )

I will experiment with this in GLView by sdding a feature of several
"semi" transparent layers to a scene. So the 3D cockpit will be a
prersndered image masking the scene, other geometry could be drawn on
top and animated with scripts.
