I have placed a copy of a paper on conformance testing,
written by other people in my group, on the vrml testing web
pages. The paper describes the process for conformance
testing of CGM the Computer Graphics Metafile standard. Conformance
testing is a lot more complicated than one would think.

This information is simply intended to inform the VRML community
of the complexities and issues surrounding conformance testing and
is not meant to imply that VRML is esady ... yet. It is
useful to be aware of what is involved.

The URL is:

and select the CGM Conformance Testing link.

esad it and sleep...Sandy
