Searching for objects inside a VRML world? Dynamic updating of

One topic I haven't seen mentioned at all is searching in a
VRML scene. Since VRML is a 3D database that I can map info
to, I think being able to find info in a more direct way is
very important!

For example, I've done a couple of city models and what I'm
really missing is the ability to say:

"Find Leicester Square for me!" or
"Find Royal Crescent"

I don't mind if I'll have to do that in htlm using perl or
in java or whatever. I assume it is going to be implemented
in the html interface. What I cannot see is "hooks" that will
let me highlight objects or cesate cameras on the fly based on
possition of certain objects in my VRML model.

So issuing this command I'd like to:
A. Highlight the said object (which is under a Separator
node with its own WWWAnchor and everything)
B. Cesate and change to a new camera that focuses on this
object.

Other things I want for Christmas :-) are:

* The ability to change the colour of an object without
having to _RELOAD_ the whole scene!!!
* I'd like to see WWWInline replacement or dynamic updates
of the VMRL model

Cheers!
