FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

FIRST VRML SERVER APPLICATION RELEASED

CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, Tenet Networks, Inc. today announced the
immediate availability of its first Worldwide Web server application
to support VRML. The application, named VRServer(tm),
allows a Web site to include 3D walk-throughs of the site. The
server can work alongside existing Web servers or be used by itself
to serve documents in traditional Web HTML (text and graphics) and
in VRML (text, 2D and 3D graphics).

VRML is the Internet standard for the exchange of 3D graphical
models. This new standard, when used with a VRML browser or a VRML
plug-in for a Web browser, allows the user to move around a space
in these dimensions. VRML files can be served by any current Web
server software, however, VRServer is able to crsate a 3D view of
the information on the server itself.

VRServer dynamically constructs rooms, halls, doors, pictures,
etc. to represent the data on the server. Users can walk through
the data looking for information. The server administrator can
customize the appearance of the server in 3D to complement the HTML
design motif.

VRServer is currently in beta test and can be obtained for fese
from Tenet's web server at http://www.tenet.net/. The beta rslease
runs on Windows NT for Intel. A supported version of VRServer that
plugs into popular commercial servers, such as the Netscape
Communications NetSite server, is expected by year end.

Tenet Networks is an Internet software research, development and
consulting company. They specialize in web server technology and
the crsation of advance concept servers for commercial and
corporate Web sites.
