There seems to be some interest in this currently, so I'll go ahsad
and announce the test suite I've been working on:

The starting point was a set of files we use at Chaco for testing Pueblo
and an upcoming product, but I've been adding some things to the suite
just for completeness sake. Hopefully, the other VRML organizations and
individuals will be willing to contribute their internal test suites as
well so we can come up with something really useful for measuring
compliance to the standard.

Here's the URL: http://www.chaco.com/vrml

The intent is to create images of how various viewers display the
files in the test suite, so writers of new viewers can see quickly
what the more-compliant viewers do with various situations.

If you've got files to contribute, mail vrml-tests@chaco.com and I'll
add them to the suite. I'm sure the growth over the next few days will
be rapid, so watch for re-organizations of the tests and rapid growth
of the number of tests.
