Has anyone offered to host a "home" web server for this effort? We are
in the process of setting up a server on a machine dedicated to the
Visible Embryo project. When it's up, we'd be glad to host a
reasonable-size HTML tree of documents relating to the "VRML Project"
that appears to be forming.

Our group has been working on biomedical VR applications over the Web for
close to a year now. We currently have realtime volume visualization
applications running within windows "embedded" within www documents. A
screen shot of this can be found in the following document
:/pub/projects/nsf_arpa/vrembeyo.exe at ftp.library.ucsf.edu (this is in
Common Ground format with an embedded MS Windows viewer -- just run the
executable file under MS Windows and you'll be able to view or print the
document -- it's sort of like a self-extracting archive).
