One thing to keep in mind when compiling statistics about the Web
is that in many cases the probability distributions involved are
highly skew -- for instance log-normal or exponential. Depending on
what you do with the stats, it may be more accurate to report, say,
a geometric mean instead of the usual arithmetic average.
