I have written a new logfile analysis program called analog. It produces
output similar to getstats; I wrote it because although we liked the getstats
output style, we found that getstats got buggy, not to mention very slow,
when the logfile got big. Testers so far have commented how fast analog is,
and easy to install.
The reason I am mentioning this on this mailing list is that the program is
now in the final stages of beta testing, and I want to know from the Web site
developers and managers out there what other features, if any, are wanted on
it. So you are welcome to download it and try it out.
No, it doesn't know where mit.edu and open.ac.uk are (though you can tell it),
but then it doesn't cost $695 either...
